JUMP THE QUEUE TO THE ARC DE TRIOMPHE: All Year |
Don't leave Paris without visiting this emblematic national symbol of France. Commissioned in 1806 after the victory at Austerlitz by Emperor Napoleon, it was completed thirty years later, under the reign of King Louis-Philippe.
Also, the Arc has recently been modernized with the latest interactive technology to improve its legendary panoramic experience.
This illustrious monument is a tourist favorite and holds a special place in the heart of the French. Forming a backdrop for an impressive urban paradise where the world of commerce, tourism and business mingle, the Arc is nestled at the center of a star-shaped configuration of 12 radiating avenues. The view is also spectacular.
This year, the Arc de Triomphe is showcasing its new permanent exhibition : "French History in times of war and peace at the Arc de triomphe".
