THE MAKING OF HARRY POTTER: 31 March onwards

By Rachael Stubbins

Ravenclaw? Hufflepuff? Gryffindor? Slytherin?

Whatever House you belong to, the opening of Warner Bros.' doors is an exciting opportunity you won't want to miss. Make your way through the intricate Great Hall and the graffiti-carved tables; follow on to Dumbledore's prestigious office to see the original Sword of Gryffindor, the Sorting Hat and the headmaster portraits; move on to Gryffindor's infamous common room and the boys' dormitory; hurry to the safety of Hagrid's hut; potter along the cobblestones of Diagon Alley; and immerse yourself in the magical world of Harry Potter as you take your time seeing all the sets on show.

Ever wondered how the mystical creatures were created? How was Buckbeak the Hippogriff made or Fawkes the phoenix and the giant Basilisk head? How were the Quidditch matches filmed? Learn about the combination of green screen effects, animatronics and life-sized models that enabled the words of J. K. Rowling to come alive on your screen. Indulge your inner witch or wizard as you see the interactive exhibits, intricate costumes and props such as Harry's Nimbus 2000 and Firebolt and Hagrid's motorcycle.
