The Estates Theatre in Prague was originally built during the eighteenth century as a response to Enlightenment thought: to make culture accessible to all but also to showcase the quality of Czech culture. Such a reputation is upheld to this day where audiences can enjoy come of the most affordable, yet nonetheless enjoyable and well-respected, Opera, theatre and ballet in Europe.
