Musée d'Art Contemporain (MAC), Marseille: All Year

The museum exhibits a wide variety of contemporary art examples (almost 800 works): paintings, sculptures, photographs, video and other installations. The works belong to movements such as Arte Povera, New Realism, Supports/Surfaces, the eclecticism of the 1980s, there are works by mavericks and more. The collection includes not only local contemporary art but also major international works. The Musée d'Art Contemporain, also called MAC, was created in 1994 and today is recognised by the international art community. Accessible by foot from parc Balnéaire du Prado and parc Borély, the museum always houses temporary exhibitions alongside its permanent exhibition.
