Undeniably, one of Madrid’s greatest hidden gems.
Although Platea is in Plaza de Colón - one of Madrid’s main squares – not many people know this hidden gem that lies within the old Carlos III cinema. If you follow the red carpet that lies outside Plantea, you will find yourself in the former cinema. Since its closure, the space has been converted into a huge area across two floors and is now filled with dozens of small bars and restaurants. Not only will you find anything from Spanish tapas, Japanese sushi or Italian Pizza, but there’s even a Michelin Star Restaurant.
