Le bouledogue, Restaurant, Paris

Le Bouledogue, a café-brasserie  between the Centre Pomidou and the Marais, is one of the few remaining authentic bistrots in this fashionable area of Paris.

Some of the most notable dishes at Le Bouledogue are the herring fillets with fried potatoes (€10,50), the veal with béarnaise sauce with green peppers (€28,50), leeks with vinaigrette (€8,70) or the duck confit with salad and hand-cut French fries (€19,50). Old fashioned desserts include the tarte tatin with crème fraiche (€10), the profiteroles (€10,50) and the chocolate mousse with crème anglaise (€9,50).

Besides the ‘à la carte’, Le Bouledogue has daily set menus (three starters, a meat course, a fish course, and dessert ), based on seasonal products.
