Built in 1908, the Palau de la Musica symbolized the revival of Catalonian culture – and it continues to do so, with a high quality concert season.

Barcelona's warm winters make it the ideal place for a European break in the months to come. One of the numerous cultural venues is the Palau de la Musica, which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.

Built in 1908 by renown architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner to house the Orfeo Catalan Choir, this magnificent, ornate building (now a World Heritage site) symbolized the revival of Catalonian culture and architecture, and it continues to do so, with a high-quality seasonal concert programme featuring a wide array of genres and performers from around the world.

Find out more in our interview with Joan Oller, director of the Palau de la Música.
