Warhol. Mechanical Art, Exhibition, CaixaForum, Madrid: until 6 May 2018

This is archived material. It is for reference purposes only.

A vast display of Andy Warhol's works will be on at CaixaForum Madrid in Spring 2018.

Three decades after his death, Andy Warhol (1928-1987) remains, undisputedly, the most recognizable face of Pop Art. The exhibition “Warhol. Mechanical Art” features a wide array of material including several of the artist’s best known pictorial works, ranging from his famous portraits to the Campbell's soup cans. This exhibition shows the evolution of his work.

There are some less well known works, which are equally as interesting, such as his experimental Screen Tests and the installation created in collaboration with the British band The Velvet Underground, as well as posters, magazines, photos and sculptures.
