Berlin’s largest protestant church.
Known also as Berliner Dom, this cathedral is an important part of Berlin’s skyline with its 114 metre high dome. Built between 1894 and 1905 it is a showpiece of baroque architecture with its dome and four towers.
Go inside and admire the gilded interior, complete with beautiful paintings and a huge organ with over 7,000 pipes.
The cathedral is also the mausoleum of the Hohenzollern family, a German royal dynasty. The crypt is filled with more than 90 tombs and sarcophagi, including that of Frederick the First (1657 to 1713).
