Picasso. Tableaux magiques, Exhibition, Picasso Museum, Paris: 1 October 2019–23 February 2020

The exhibition "Tableaux Magiques" at the Picasso Museum in Paris features an array of singular works by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.

Between the summer of 1926 and the spring of 1930, Pablo Picasso churned out a vast collection of paintings that the art critic Christian Zervos named "magic paintings" in 1938. Picasso experimented with different plastic forms, creating strange figures, opening a new chapter in his creation. In such works you can already visualise the power of Guernica.

The exhibition includes a large part of these singular works, from sources all over the world.
