If you are not going to make it to the Fallas Festival in Valencia, don’t be disappointed. You can still get to know this amazing festival - UNESCO’S Intangible Heritage of Humanity since 2016 - at the Museu Faller de València.

The museum doesn’t show just the impressive evolution of technique and style of the ninots (the figures that make up the fallas) but every two years, privileged ninots are spared from their fate and taken to the museum. They are elected by popular vote among the chosen ones by the falleras mayores. And it’s not an easy choice, as there are around 800 fallas to be found around Valencia. The museum features ninots that have been saved since 1934.
