The Museum has more than 5000 pieces of pottery produced in Manises from the 14th century to the first half of the 20th century.
It also has a technology room and library which provides information about the ceramic factories, workshops and shops in the city of Manises.
The museum is installed in the only civil building of a certain architectural relevance from the 18th century that exists in Manises but there is also a notable Gothic doorway which dates back to the end of the 15th century. It is one of the few architectural vestiges that was saved from the fire and subsequent demolition of the Palace of Mossén Sorell in Valencia.
