Brussels's Grand Place becomes the ideal place to welcome the Christmas season. The market includes more that 200 stands offering traditional arts and crafts, jewellery, hand-made Christmas tree decorations and, of course, Belgian chocolate.
Brussels prepares for Christmas with a traditional market extending across the Grand Place, the Place de Sainte Catherine, the Fish Market, the Stock Market and the Place de la Monnaie. Around 150 exhibitors from all over Europe offer traditional arts and crafts, jewellery, hand-made Christmas tree decorations and, of course, Belgian chocolate.
The Christmas market is complete with a 740m2 artificial ice-rink is set up at the Place de la Monnaie -for those who tire of shopping-, various fair rides, a daily sound and lights show, and 3D projections.
