Acropolis Museum, Athens

With over 3000 bits and pieces spread over three levels, this museum gives you a potted history of the Acropolis between the 7th-century BCE and the 5th-century CE.

You can admire the ruins of an ancient Athenian neighbourhood thanks to a glass floor in the atrium. There are also finds from sanctuaries from the slopes of the Acropolis and a gallery of sculptures from various temples. A whole floor is dedicated to the largest temple, the Parthenon.
