The National Gallery in Prague houses the largest art collection in the Czech Republic across a number of historic buildings across the city centre.
The Czech National Art Gallery, the second oldest gallery in Europe next to the Louvre, includes a wide range of fine art by Czech painters and sculptors, as well as Western paintings by Albrecht Durer, Picasso, Monet and others.
Although based in the Old Town Square, the National Gallery hosts exhibitions across many buildings in Prague, including the Trade Fair Palace, Sternberg Palace, Schwarzenberg Palace and the Convent of St. Agnes of Bohemia.
