A Crudo Bistró, Florence

If you have visted the Boboli Gardens and you're heading to the Piazza San Spirito or the Piazza Del Carmine to see the Santa Maria Del Carmine Church, this  cosy little gem of a bistrot on the Via Mazzetta is more or less on your route.

As the name suggests this bistrot specialises in dishes made from raw food and is a dream come true for anybody who worships a good steak tartare; with six different variations. (€12-14)

But don't despair if you're a vegetarian:  there is  a selection of veggie tartares: such as Zucchini with Rocket salad and Grana Cheese (€10).

There is also fruit tartare, as well as the usual Italian bistrot fare including pasta.

The bistrot doesn't have a terrace but when the huge glass doors are open, you get the impression of being on one.

Excellent value for money
