Walking through the two lions guarding the door, you will catch sight of the beautiful indoor patio at the heart of this superb museum. The glass dome naturally lights the marble sculptures interspersed in a greenery setting of trees and flowers. A fountain hosting goldfish, an artist sketching one of the sculptures, a family sharing a cup of tea, the first glimpse offers a peaceful scenery. 

The different bright rooms hold unique Rodin sculptures and French Impressionist paintings. The Glyptotek's diversity of masterpieces proceeds from the personal collection of Jacob Carlsberg.
