A stylish restaurant in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona serving food of excellent quality

This stylish restaurant, tucked away down an alley in the Gothic Quarter, offers an innovative menu, extensive wine list and fantastic ambience. The friendly staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the food, so you can expect to receive excellent service throughout the night. Before our meal they brought us a complementary portion of chilled carrot soup and after dessert, chocolate truffles.

The presentation of the dishes and their flavours are exquisite, particularly the mussels steamed in ginger and chili which are beautifully tender, clearly fresh from the sea. They offer a great range of fish especially and the menu accommodates vegetarians very well. The restaurant’s interior is artistic and tastefully decorated with paintings on the walls for sale, whilst the dim lighting gives the place a cosy feel.

With wine, you can expect to eat for about €40 a head. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough; the food was of extremely high quality and this, along with the standard of service and wonderful atmosphere all made for a magnificent evening.
