Located in the north of Malaga, this beautiful garden is one of the few in Europe displaying subtropical plants. Jardín Botánico La Concepción is an English landscape garden with more than one hundred and fifty years of history, boasting an extensive collection of diverse plant and animal species. Over fifty thousand plants, two thousand tropical, subtropical and native species and more than one hundred different palm trees, bamboo and aquatic plants reside in these grounds.
Originally a recreational estate for a noble family in the middle of the nineteenth century, it came under public domain in 1990. Dogs are welcomed, so be sure to visit this magical place with the whole family!
