Caelum, the Latin word meaning "sky" or "heaven", is a quaint, cosy delicatessen in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. There are a large variety of teas and berry juices on the drinks menu, as well as coffees, but the speciality of this place is its delicious home-made sweet treats. From custard tarts, to cupcakes, to scones, it really is "heaven" for anyone with a sweet tooth! There are also many sugary delights and chocolate for sale in the shop section which make for a lovely gift or memento of Barcelona.
