The Picasso Museum in Barcelona explores the personal and intellectual relationship between Pablo Picasso and Paul Eluard.

Eluard (1895-1952), French poet, one of the founders of Surrealism and an influential voice in the literary revolutions of the 20th century, was Picasso's best friend from the mid-1930s until Eluard's sudden and untimely death in 1952.

Letters, books, poems, illustrated works, Picasso's portraits and drawings of Eluard and Nusch, photographs by Man Ray and Brassaï, and documentary footage does much to illustrate the relationship between these two men
