Grand Rond, Toulouse

A round public garden in the centre of Toulouse.

In the 18th-century, a huge roundabout was built to connect the city’s four main roads. It was so extensive that it became a public garden in the 19th-century.

Today there are  immaculate lawns, a fountain at the centre, and sculptures by French artists like Pierre Louis Rouillard and Antonin Mercié.
