The Grand Phare Lighthouse overlooks the island, surrounded by red and green plains of moss.
The Men Brial Lighthouse sits on rocky terrain, with its spiral staircase and emerald green tower being distinctive features. The island’s history and heritage can also be explored through the exhibition on sea rescues at the Men Brial Lighthouse whilst the Écomusée museum discovers the life of past islanders. Sein’s history is also exhibited in the Free French Monument which was a gift from General de Gaulle to the many islanders who joined him in exile in England during the Second World War.
