Musée Rodin, Paris

Opened in 1919, the Musée Rodin is dedicated to the works of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin. You can see some of his most famous works, including The ThinkerThe Kiss and The Gates of Hell, as well as its beautiful gardens in which many of the sculptures are displayed, plus Rodin's own personal collection of art.

The museum collection includes over 6,000 sculptures, 8,000 drawings, old photographs and objets d'art. It has two sites, at the Hotel Biron and its surrounding gardens in central Paris and just outside Paris in Rodin's old home, the Villa des Brillants, in Meudon.
