Museum of World Culture, Gothenburg

The super-modern and interactive Museum of World Culture has around 100,000 objects exploring the history of human handiwork and cultural production.

Even more treasures, from the extremely old to the very new, can be admired online in their backstage collections.

The museum also shines a light on more contemporary topics such as climate change, separation, and Sweden’s perception of itself through everyday photography.

Its child-friendly exhibition “Together” focuses on the joys and difficulties of living with others in the complex and confusing world of human nature.
