The Garden at Miserden, Gloucestershire, England

The Wills family have owned the land at Miserden since 1910 and you can explore their gardens, designed in the 17th century by Sir Edwin Lutyens.

The gardens at Miserden overlook the Golden Valley and are set in front of Miserden Park House, built in 1620 and owned by the Wills family since 1910. The house isn’t open to the public but the gardens include herbaceous borders, terraced lawns, and walled garden as well as a summer house and café. You’ll find roses and a formal parterre with sundial in the walled garden, and the summer house is made from stone and tiles reclaimed from elsewhere on the estate.  The Victorian greenhouses have a plant nursery if you’re keen to take some of the gardens home with you.
