A family business, with recipes handed down from Italy and an Italian master gelato maker with 30 years of experience, Gelateria Major is a gem of Marseilles. This gelateria regularly offers new and exciting flavours, with every gelato made from fresh fruits and ingredients, such as vanilla from Madagascar, hazelnut from Piemont and pistachio from Sicily. You can sit and enjoy the views of the Cathedral of the Major, or the breath-taking sunset over the MuCEM (Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations).
