A stunning fairytale castle which dates back to the 12th century, with a mini-golf course and gigantic maze.
As soon as you get into the courtyard of this ovular château, you’ll understand why so many people want to get married here (or rather get their wedding snaps taken here).
Surrounded by rustic stone walls, the centrepiece is a spiralling tower with sloping windows worthy of Rapunzel. Although much of the original 12th-century Saint Sixte was destroyed in the 16th-century, it was cleverly reconstructed so it retains its original character.
Apart from the appeal of the building itself, events are organised throughout the year. There’s a mini-golf course and a gigantic maze for children or adults who are less enthusiastic about taking a tour inside the château.
