In one of the oldest castles in the Emilia Romagna region, you might catch a glimpse of its current residents, descendants of the Marquises Pallavicino family who first built the castle in the 11th-century.
Wander inside the castle to explore the original 17th-century furnished rooms, the decorated coffered ceilings and ornate frescoes which were added by the family to transform the medieval fortress into the noble residence of today. From the elegant loggia - also added in the 17th-century - enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills and woodlands.
