Vojan Gardens, Prague

Founded as a monastery garden in the Middle Ages, the Vojan Gardens are now one of the best spots to relax in Prague’s Lesser Town, boasting a small lake, peacocks and fruit trees.

Located just along the river from the more lavish Wallenstein Gardens, the Vojan Gardens provide more open space to lay and relax than their neighbour. With peacocks wandering, low trees providing shade, and the most interestingly decorated beehives you’ll see in Prague, these gardens are a great place to come to relax before or after visiting Prague Castle.
