Barcelona is the next stop of the spectacular projections of Van Gogh's canvases, making Van Gogh larger than life.
Van Gogh dabbled in various career paths before becoming an artist at the age of 27. His decision would change the history of art forever. In just over a decade he created 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings. His most moving and deepest paintings from the post-impressionist movement include landscapes, still lifes, portraits and self-portraits.
Behind the show is the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, which has outdone itself to attract the eye of the public and appeal to their emotions by bringing the Dutch artist to life.
In this immersive exhibition, we can walk in the shoes of the artist and experience his extraordinary life through projections and visuals which convey his emotional state and show how he contributed to the foundations of modern art.
