Destination Moon.

On the 50th anniversary of the first step on the moon, this small retrospective on the history of the Man-Moon link is a lovely way to present and celebrate the history linking humanity to this star, through works of art, or objects representing it.

The exhibition is divided into five parts, which begin with the famous "Apollo 11" mission. Offering a journey on a real and imaginary scale, this exhibition will take you back in time, from antiquity to the present day, through works mainly produced in Europe, or works from Arab, African or Far Eastern civilisations, as well as scientific instruments, showing the research and knowledge that humanity possesses in astronomy, and in particular on this star that is the Moon. It is also an opportunity to discover the different visions that artists such as Girodet, Antonio Canova, or scientists such as Galileo, Thomas, have had about this famous earth satellite.
