An exhibition about the famous French designer Yves Saint Laurent and his suppliers of fashion materials for his masterpieces.

The exhibitions of fashion designers at the Musée des Tissus (Textile Museum) are always a big event for lovers of fashion, beautiful materials and creation.

After Mariano Fortuny (1980), Cristóbal Balenciaga (1985), Jeanne Paquin (1989), Madeleine Vionnet (1994), Olivier Lapidus (1997), Léonard (2006) and Franck Sorbier (2009), Yves Saint Laurent!

Yves Saint Laurent was one of the world’s most famous French fashion designers. The exhibition highlights the strong ties between Yves Saint Laurent and his suppliers (mainly of silk) in Lyon: Bianchini-Férier, Bouton Renaud, Brochier, Hurel et Sfate & Combier, Bucol, Abraham and Beaux-Valette.

Produced in cooperation with the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris, the exhibition Yves Saint Laurent promises to be a visually stunning experience, featuring beautiful fabrics, both colourful and black, and bold shapes, both masculine and feminine while revealing what happened behind the scenes.

Enjoy this inspiring experience, before the museum is closed for renovations during spring 2020.
