An unusual opportunity to discover the work of  45 female artists, painters, sculptors, movie directors, singers, designers…

The Musée du Luxembourg continues to focus on female artists and shines a light on artists from the Roaring Twenties with their new exhibition presenting paintings, sculptures, photographs, movies, textile and literary works of art. These artists were fortunate enough to go to an art school, which was usually restricted to men at the beginning of the 20th century. Many of them headed major art movements.

From Suzanne Valadon to Tamara de Lempicka, to Mela Muter, Anton Prinner and Gerda Wegener, the Paris from the Roaring Twenties comes back to life with all its flamboyance and richness. This Parisian museum celebrates their rightful place in the history of art with this 100-year retrospect.
