The genius architect and master of Art Nouveau,  Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926), left his mark on Spain at the turn of the 20th century and continues to fascinate today.

The exhibition promotes Gaudi’s creativity and major influence in Catalonia from the 19th to the 20th century, revealing his major pieces. Visit the architect’s studio, discover his innovative working techniques, his collaborators and his fantastical  projects. Drawings, models and furniture are a way to this one-of-his-kind artist’s monumental universe.

Seven creations by Gaudi are listed on the UNESCO World’s Heritage. By hosting this first major exhibition devoted to Antoni Gaudi in Paris in 50 years, the Musée d’Orsay is acknowledging the genius of this man who changed the face of Catalonia when social and political changes were encouraging  artists to innovate and develop.
