With its very distinctive interior, this open-space cafe is arranged on a green open-air wooden platform with a few long tables and benches, La Panacée is a place where you don’t feel like rushing.
This contemporary art museum is in the city centre of Montpellier. To reach there, it requires a little bit of walking (around 13 minutes) from Place de la Comédie. La Panacée has free entrance to everyone.
It is a beige building and the total area is about 1000 square metre, consisting of three promenes and one café. And in the middle of the museum, there is an open-air garden with some wooden tables and chairs where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or delicious light meals and beverages. It is a nice place to rest after visiting the whole museum or even more, a place where people bring their laptop and spend the afternoon or just simply chat with friends.
La Panacée mainly displays contemporary art works, committed to supporting and promoting emerging artists. Looking at those works of art allows you to think and be impressed by the possibility of art.
