If the kids get fed up with sightseeing, you can always slope off to this aquatic-thematic park which is meant to look like a Caribbean island, with a huge slide, a bungee-jumping tower, shows and entertainment.
Caribe Bay, inaugurated in 1989, is located in the territory of the municipality of Jesolo, in the province of Venice. With an extension of approx. 80,000 m2, it has been elected several times the best water park in Italy.
When the park was inaugurated there were just a few attractions, like ‘Toboganes’ and ‘Barracudas’. In 1992 ‘Crazy River’ was added, which allows you to try the rafting experience. Then it was the turn of ‘Bungee jumping’, of a pirate galleon used as a stage for Peter Pan-inspired shows, of an amphitheater and of a wave pool with real Caribbean sand, as well as numerous slides.
In the summer of 2019, 30 years after the inauguration, it changed its name from ‘Aqualandia’ to ‘Caribe Bay’.
