The Museum of London

The scale of this museum's collection is a tribute to the infinite complexity of the city.

The Museum of London boasts an incredible range of artefacts; its one million piece core collection, with an additional six million archaeological finds, ranges from the prehistoric to the latest contemporary culture.

Charles I's royal costumes stand alongside pieces from Vivienne Westwood, and pictures, photos and artifacts trace the social history of London through the ages.

The Museum aims for the most complete and detailed picture of the city throughout. New archaeological finds are always being added, and the Museum houses Europe's largest archaeological archive. It continues to collect items from contemporary culture to ensure its vivid picture of London continues undisturbed into the future.
