The Barbican Centre is the biggest performing arts centre in Europe.

This fantastical concrete building is the largest performing arts centre in the whole of Europe. The London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Symphony Orchestra are both resident here, and the Barbican's multiple venues present classical and contemporary music concerts, theatre, dance, film screenings and exhibitions.

There are several restaurants, a library and a spectacular high-level conservatory at the top of the fly tower.

Owned by the City of London Corporation, the Barbican was the city’s gift to the nation. The maze-like building of passages and space centres around a lake and terrace, an urban haven in Britain's paradise of performance and art.
