Villa Necchi Campiglio, Milan

Villa Necchi Campiglio is a spectacular house hidden from the chaotic city center of Milan.

Constructed between 1932 and 1935 by Milanese architect Piero Portaluppi, this lovely villa is very luxurious with beautiful gardens, a tennis court, and a swimming pool. It was once home to the Necchi Campiglio family, a family of the industrial bourgeoisie class. This breathtaking home has caught the attention of Italian directors as quite a few movies were filmed here. Today, the villa is an art museum displaying Italian art from the 20th century. It's currently owned and administred by the organisation FAI.
