The Gallery of Modern Art of Milan, otherwise known as GAM, is a great art gallery.
Found in Villa Reale, this gallery is home to many modern pieces. Although it is filled with mostly Italian paintings, there are also masterpieces by Picasso, Manet, and other artists as well.
The building was designed by Austrian architect Leopold Pollack between 1790 and 1796 as the residence of Count Ludovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso. It has 3 floors and a garden. The garden is a really nice and peaceful place to escape the busy city. From the green spaces to the gallery, the museum is filled with culture and diversity!
