The perfect place to promenade overlooking the sea in the city of Milazzo.
The Marina Garibaldi, also known as the Passeggiata di Levante, extends from the port of Milazzo to the village of Vaccarella.
In the early morning, you can sit on one of the many benches and enjoy a quiet moment watching the sunrise; the area, however, is quite more popular in the afternoon and evening, when a myriad of shops and ice cream parlors attracts a thicker crowd. The area also features two churches, San Giacomo on one side and Santa Maria Maggiore on the other.
During the summer (and especially for the village festivals) there are some stalls where you can buy the most disparate objects, from children's games to stones for crystal therapy.
