Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, Moscow

The Museum of Cosmonautics is the only one in Moscow which collects, stores and displays items related to the exploration of space.

At the end of the '70s the Monument to the Conquerors of Space was built. This was followed a few years later by the construction of the Museum of Cosmonautics at the foot of the monument, which opened  its doors to the public on April 10th, 1981 to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the first manned space flight. Exhibitions at the museum tell the story of Soviet space exploration starting from the first attempts and finishing with the latest achievements.

Don't miss the opportunity to taste real food for cosmonauts while visiting this museum!
