Church of St. Barbara, Krakow

The small, Gothic Church of St Barbara was built in the 14th century, and its construction was partially financed by Queen Jadwiga, a saint and patron of Poland.

Late in the 18th century, it housed the University’s clinical hospital.

Must see the Gothic Garden of Olives; the stone Pietà from the early 15th century, a work of a sculptor from the circle of the Master of the Beautiful Madonnas.
