One of Poland’s oldest museums displaying a variety of objects from around the world.
Wilanów Palace was built towards the end of the 17th-century for King John III Sobieski, a keen art collector. A statue of King John on a horse stands opposite the entrance.
In 1805, the Palace was turned into a museum and it still displays a lot of the objects King John collected. Admire the antique furniture, ceramics, and paintings by artists like Pompeo Batoni and Peter Paul Rubens.
Make sure you explore the Palace while you are there, and check out the baroque decoration of all the rooms.
