One of the oldest parks in Bucharest, the forestry here was cleared in the mid 19th century to create a green space split into two by the Kiseleff Boulevard. You can escape the bustle of the city centre to explore winding alleys and find contemporary sculpture and busts of famous Romanian men.

One of the oldest parks in Bucharest, the forestry here was cleared in the mid 19thcentury to create a green space split into two by the Kiseleff Boulevard. You can escape the bustle of the city centre and explore winding alleys lined with flower beds and elderly trees. Take a stroll to find contemporary sculpture and busts of famous Romanian men, including writer Barbu Delavrancea and botanist Dimitrie Grecesu. Located near to some important museums, this is a great spot to take a break from indoor sightseeing and have a picnic in the sun.
