The Orange Garden is a must see attraction in Rome! This enchanting garden is nestled between some of the most famous monuments of the Eternal City. As you walk among the garden, you will breath in the aroma of oranges which adds to the beauty of the garden.
Also known as Parco Savello, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of monuments and domes, reinforcing the ancient and modern parts of the city. It is approximately 7,800 square meters and can be found on the Aventine Hill.
Created by Raffaele De Vico in 1932, it is a popular spot for the locals and tourists. Often you will find couples strolling down the main avenue of the garden. The garden is decorated with thousands of orange trees overlooking the Tiber River. This is a very tranquil and peaceful green space to take a walk and admire the scenery. This small romantic haven is definitely a highlight during a trip to Rome!
