Army Museum, Toledo, Spain

The Army Museum of Toledo was opened in 2010 and is located inside the Alcázar fortress. It offers a unique insight into Spain's military past and also contains remains of old Roman and medieval constructions.

The museum contains a variety of military memorabilia dating from the 19th-century until the present day, including swords, firearms, artillery, flags, uniforms and medals amongst others. The museum also has a collection relating to General Franco and the civil war.
