Ringed with chic cafés, restaurants, and art galleries, “The King’s Garden” is easily one of the most popular hangouts in Stockholm.
A stone’s throw away from the palace, it’s a long, thin rectangle of tree-lined gravel avenues, stately fountains, royal gardens, and plenty of entertainment. The park puts on countless open-air concerts during summer and, much like many European capitals, sports an ice rink in winter.
Once springtime comes the cherry blossom erupts into clouds of luminous pink, making Kungsträdgården a small park with many incarnations.
