Beckford's Tower, Bath

Originally known as Lansdown Tower, Beckford's is an architectural folly, built in a neo-classical style. The tower was built for novelist and critic William Beckford who used it as a library and a retreat. It is now a museum displaying furniture originally made for the tower, as well as paintings, prints, and objects.
